He was left devastated when Zara McDermott was dumped from the villa this week.
Yet Adam Collard wasted no time moving on as he will admit that he’s got his eye on the new girls, in particular Darylle Sargeant, during Friday’s episode of Love Island.
In scenes due to air on the ITV2 show, the 22-year-old personal trainer will confess that he ‘could be happier with someone else’, despite Zara recently proclaiming the pair are in love.
Adam and the rest of the boys have temporarily moved into Casa Amor whilst they mingle with six new girls, whilst their female counterparts have been treated to six new boys joining them in the original villa.
After a few days of mingling, the Islanders will then have to decide if they want to couple up with one of the new people – leaving their original partner at risk of being sent home – or stick with their current couple.
Speaking to new girl Darylle about whether he is ready to move on from Zara he says: ‘It was super emotional at the time when it happened and I was happy with her but if I could be happier with someone else, I may as well try with someone else and see how things go.
‘I would always go into something open minded and I think getting to know the next person is always the best thing to do… With the other girls, it’s more friendly but I can have a little bit more of a flirt with you I think.’
In the Beach Hut, he says: ‘I get a very good vibe from Darylle and I did from when she first came in. I’m interested to see where that can go.’

It comes after Zara vowed to wait for Adam on the outside, claiming their relationship was so strong after 10 days of knowing each other that they are already in love.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, government adviser Zara shared a screenshot of herself crying before Adam at the moment she learned she’d been voted off, before defending Adam’s decision to stay in the villa after her shocking exit.
In a lengthy post, she wrote: ‘Leaving Adam in the villa was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. He is so wonderful and I hope that everyone can now see that. The bond we built in the villa was something I never expected and so different to anything I have ever experienced before.’
New partner? Adam’s head has been turned by new girl Darylle Sargeant, an eyebrow technician who entered the villa in Thursday’s episode alongside five other new girls
Addressing his decision to remain in the villa without her — despite claiming he was devastated by her departure, Zara continued: ‘Whether he chooses to stay or leave is completely his decision; I support him no matter what he does, and I will always be ready to welcome him home.
‘As much as I didn’t want to leave without him, I know that this experience is once in a lifetime and I’d never want to take that away from him. I walked into the villa wanting to find someone and also to find myself and I think I’ve done both.
She concluded: ‘Thank you guys for all your love, it means the world to me especially now that I am out in the big wide world on my own without my partner in crime! These past few days have been hard, but thank you guys again for everything.’
Swoon: It has been eye candy a-plenty as six brand new boys – (L-R) Frankie, Alex, Jack, Jordan , Dean and Charlie – walk in to the girls’ villa and heads are immediately turned

Zara became the latest casualty of the Love Island villa when she was booted off the show after a shock vote from the male islanders. The brunette was chosen to leave after the public vote saw four couples saved and left in charge of who went.
She had a short but headline-grabbing stay in the Mallorca villa, coupling up with the villa villain Adam last week after his shock dumping of Rosie.
Dani and Jack, Samira and Sam, Georgia and Josh and Laura and Wes were split into boys and girls, with the boys choosing Zara to go and the girls picking Eyal.
